It looks to have the same auto-fill system with a newer control box possibly combined with the dosing control.
When I was re-assembling my machine I adjusted the manual fill knob incorrectly and the boiler overfilled causing water to shoot out the OPV. I suspect you may have held the lever too long and overfilled. Watch the level tube.
Indeed Espresso Parts has everything you will need. They even special ordered something for me from CMA.
I say clean it, plumb it, plug it in and fire it up. Mine looked like it came from the bottom of a swamp but it works perfectly.
Let me know if you want a copy of my parts order sheets.

CMA is a great company for parts continuity. They seem to use the same components forever, including a huge 5 hole steam wand tip. If anyone knows of a smaller replacement tip PLEASE e-mail me.
The arrow is pointing to your flow meter for volumetric dosing. Everything else looks the same.
I bet you will be happy with the new machine, CMA=Workhorse, and as a bonus you can ditch those fancy automatic dosing "upgrades" later and bolt on a lever group.
