Problems with a Reneka Concept 956

Postby sb2366 on Wed Feb 03, 2010 9:56 pm

Hi, I'm new to this site and am hoping for some help with problems I am currently having with my coffee machine. The machine is a Reneka Concept 956 and the problem is the water does not appear to be boiling. Basically the milk frother is just producing a stream of luke warm water, the same for the water used to make the coffee. Any help would be much appreciated.

The only good possibility is vapor lock (open the steam valve on start up and see if it starts spitting steam after ten minutes or so). If that isn't it; you'll need to post picture of the machines, including the innards, since I'm not sure anyone has ever head of this machine (I haven't). The only trace on the web is this post and French Craig's list site. From the offer there, it looks like a basic auto two grouper.

If you do post pictures, you'd get a bunch of diagnostic advice requiring plumbing and electrical skills to carry out, as well as a source for Reneka spare parts for any eventual repairs. If you do not have all of these, you probably need to take the machine in to a commercial espresso machine repair place.

You could write to Reneka.com,for a technical manual perhaps,or advice.
