It looks like everything is good - I got the new pstat on Thursday, got it installed that night and made sure the machine worked. The contact arrangement is somewhat different between the two models, so for reference, the single-wire connector goes to the top lead; the dual-wire connector goes to the bottom and the center lead is left unconnected. I did need to teflon tape the threads between the pstat, the coupler and the piping, but that was easy enough.
