Hi Mark,

fortunately Swagelok got back to me saying that they will produce a brass 1/4" BSPP to 1/4" tube adaptor which together with a 1/4" - 1/16" tube converter will be enough to connect everything. Downside is waiting 2 weeks for it, but I'm in no hurry, so it's not too bad.

A friend of mine might also sort out a needle valve for me sometime soon, so I'll be using something meant to be used for precise throttling instead of the ball valve.

Looks like all the pieces are slowly moving into the right places.

Regards,
Tom

Hi guys,

I was planning to order the parts today, but I remembered reading a pump manual sometime ago that said one shouldn't use brass fittings on stainless steel pumps as it might cause corrosion.

The parts I wanted to get are brass and the PT is stainless, anyone knows what's the risk of getting corrosion on those two elements if I use teflon tape to seal it?

Regards,
dsc.
