Pressure Gauge Needle Vibration

On my La Spaziale MV II, I'm finding that the needle on my pressure gauge moves very quickly (vibrates?) while pulling a shot between the 9 and 10 bar lines. It moves so quickly between the lines that the needle blurs. Is this a sign of a pressure irregularity caused possibly by poor technique, faulty equipment or some other variable I haven't mentioned? Is it a sign that I'm at 9.5 bars? Is it something I can't fathom?
I've dosed about 21g into a bottomless triple basket. The shots are pulling a bit slow (I'm still getting used to a new Compak K10) after being single dosed. This effect also occurs at 16g-18g is my standard double basket.

See Pressure pump gauge going crazy; more than likely the damping coil is filled with water instead of air. Remove the gauge and use a heat gun to drive the water out of the coil.

Hey JerDGold,
I've also noticed that on my recently acquired used MV II. By chance, did you try Dan's advice?
