Haven't been on board for quite a while. Refreshing to see, how much has been done over that period. Commercial one-groupers seem to be pretty much standard and arming with a two group monster seems not to be really out of space.

So I don't hesitate to display my little coffee corner. Small as it is I love it, although it's not beeing made in Synesso-Robur country. :wink:Image

The macchina is a self-modified Rancilio Classe 6 S, 1 group, the grinder is a self-modified Mazzer Super Jolly.

Convincing the SO that dual group is not overkill took some time. But when she learned the price of the new machines I was considering, the Elektra I bought for 250$ did not seem so big anymore ;-) Now, I just need to work on convincing my eco-consciousness that I am not killing the planet every time I turn the machine on!

Coffee is great but it can always be improved.

Ok, I finally made it to post my setup pictures!

And here is it all:

Caravel was not always on the counter, it was usually sitting in the cupboard below Vivaldi  and only now I am loving levers more... Well there's not much place left so when Peppina arrives, it will reside in living room I guess. I'll be happy with that! :D

I think I'll post also some other pictures I took during those two years. Btw, what's behind Caravel is my mini-oven. I'm hot water and toasts lover for good! 8)

Newbie here. Here's my set-up, I got the equipment for free from an old restaurant basement. Took a bit of scrubbing and some new parts but the machine and grinder are in good working order. Built the bar from IKEA cabinets and did all the plumbing and electricity myself.

Image

the grinder is a Gaggia branded Rossi R45 type, fitted it with a canning funnel instead of the large hopper

Rancilio S20 MIDI CD. nice and basic, no complicated electronics.

Faucet/sink with pitcher rinser, and knock box

Plumbing under the counter
