WOW friends that give espresso grinders! Can you introduce me to them also. I am always in the market for new friends. Especially ones with such good gifting ability.

I'm up to 6; 2 Majors, 2 Super Jollys, a KitchenAid Pro & a Zass Knee Mill. The SJs will soon be up for sale so I'll have to get by with 4.

Brownie, that is one of the nicest home setups I've ever seen. Very neat and well organized. It actually has a spacious feel to it, not crowded at all. Nice pictures, too.

Yeah, OK, I am blind 'cuz I still can't see the Rocky behind the bar. In the "old" setup, yes. But in the new? (I feel like I'm playing "Where's Waldo?") Image

Thanks for the nice words SlowRain - and I'm quite happy about the setup. AND it makes great coffee

Here's my travel kit, mostly sourced pre-used...

Slowly coming to grips with it, its my first lever machine...

The Sunbeam grinder was purchased new for around 125USD, great little grinder. I have bought a few as gifts, but some of them don't seem to be very well calibrated though. Of a total of five, two have been returned due to an inability to grind fine enough and no mechanism to adjust the zero point (at least none I could find). I see from this last grinder, they have redesigned the bean grabbing area of the burrs slightly. Its noticeably better, the older version often leaving a couple of beans in the throat unable to feed them through.

I know this may be a shot in the dark but I am looking for a travel grinder for espresso and I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction where I can get one of those sunbeam grinders. I have done a search and can't seem to locate anything outside the US. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
