fei1=flying, ma3=horse.

It does sound like Faema, but I don't think they ever made grinders like that, so it would be a strange association...

Not as strange as you may think . . . :wink:

Enjoyed the thread. I just ordered an Izzo Duetto.
It will be here next Thursday.
I can't wait! I want to post pictures of my setup, but I gotta wait one more week!
Happy Valentine's Day! :D

hbuchtel is right. It is a Chinese name meaning Flying Horse, but I'm pretty sure they chose that name just to sound as close as they could to Faema.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site. Here's my setup, if you can call it this way.. quite basic, in front of the large majority seen in here. Hope you enjoy it!

I do not for a moment doubt their meaning of "Flying Horse," but neither do I doubt their "sound" intentions . . . :wink:

Welcome, Marco -- and it's a beautiful setup! (Much nicer than the one I used to have, believe me.) Enjoy!

ImageHere is my recent addition. I don't have a pic of my grinder, but it's the Gaggia MDF burr grinder, but my next purchase will be the Mazzer Mini. For now, it'll do just fine. Except I think I'm needing a new knockbox since this one is kind of small for my 58 mm portafilter now.

Just finished the rennovation of the major. It replaces a super jolly. So far, seems to be an improvement. Until I run a new circuit I'm being careful to time the grinding only when the heater cycles off so as not to trip the breaker. The A3 was from ebay and the major was from a salvage company in New Haven. A new hopper, burs and a coat of paint and it's as good as new. I used an aluminum can to make the schnozz and a cone to cover the center of the doser star.
