Pavoni Europiccola exterior cleaning - limescale

Postby oliverkuehberger on Tue Mar 01, 2011 1:45 pm

Hi everyone - I own a Pavoni Europiccola (chrome - my second) and unfortunately the group (head) is leaking. Due to my travel schedules, buying a house and life in gerneral I was not able to repair the group until (but kept using it) now but am facing some rather nasty limescale on the group.
Has any of you any experience how to best clean the exterior under these circumstance?

Thanks in advance!

Most people like to use any of a variety of metal polish products but I only use super fine steel wool to scour and polish chrome. I use it dry and it is especially good on removing scale.

Thanks for the answer. While I was looking at your website, a problem occurred to me that I completely had forgotten about and learned to live with.

I bought my Pavoni in the UK when I was still living in Europe. It is a major pain to get the hot water preheated before using the machine. Can you retrofit a Pavoni for us with 110V?

Thanks again
