I will be tending the espresso bar for a friend's wedding. They rented a GS3 and due to the sheer volume required, I figured I would plumb in the machine.
The setup I was thinking: Bottle -> Flo-jet -> Shurflo Accumulator -> Machine
I can't believe it, I bought a 1.5 year old very lightly used GS3 MP this weekend. I did not really expect to, but I felt it was just too good of a price to pass up. So, I guess I will sell my Duetto II, that has served me so well. I have had 3.5 years of flawlessly reliable...
I've had my GS/3 since February, and my goal has been to emulate the 2% milk latte served at the Intelligentsia coffee bars in the Los Angeles area where I live. I've been able to dial in my espresso using their Black Cat Classic Espresso (18g going in, brews for 25-30 seconds,...

You may remember the thread I started last week detailing my issues with sour shots on my Profitec Pro 700 no matter how fine my grind setting. Going back and rereading HB's review of the Profitec helped tremendously - as it turns out I wasn't doing a warming flush as...
Hey,
I've got a Silvia that I set up on a timer for about an hour so it's hot when I wake up. Recently the boiler light has been coming on when I start a shot.
I start by temperature surfing.
Wait for the light to go out.
I bump it for a sec to get the initial bit of steam...
