thanks for all your input, i really appreciate it.
What i've taken from your posts is that these are excellent machines, but overpriced new. There seems to be a real lack of used olympias around.

I've made a choice, it's not an olympia but i think i'll keep a used cremina in mind as a second machine in the future.

I'm not sure Olympias are THAT overpriced. Who offers you that quality in that size?

I know they have an unsurpassed build quality but in the end I balked at the nearly £2k price. :cry:
I have placed a deposit on an ECM Mechanika Professional. Delivery 2 to 3 weeks. :D
