Nuova Simonelli Mac Digit overhaul - What to paint panels with?

I just finished a complete overhaul and have got to the reassembly step. The panels are red with a faded look and worn spots. I want to refurbish the outside to appear as good as the inside. Has anyone painted theirs or have any recommendations. I have already made all necessary repairs from stripped screwholes, etc. Thanks.

They appear to be some sort of plastic, no? If so, Are you going to paint them yourself? If so, then try one of the aerosol paints made for plastic like Krylon Fusion.

Paint distributor recommended using a semigloss interior paint. Having it done now. Thanks for the quick reply.
