Hello All,
I am a new poster and reader of the board. I just joined the HX fraternity with the purchase of a lightly used Brasilia Mini-classic. It is like new and is working beautiful. It replaced a 3 year old Rancilio Silvia. The Rancilio worked so well for me that I could only go considerably up-market to find anything better. The Brasilia has exceeded my high expectations.
I will keep reading to learn from you all. I have not found much on this machine and would welcome any specific references about the mini-classic. I want to be sure I am caring for it properly. It feels entirely unstressed by my daily use. I can only drink so much coffee. I have taken to inviting friends over just to have the excuse to use it.

That is a nice looking machine. I would suggest investing in a temperature probe for the group head from Eric. I am sure he will let us know if he has one for this machine. It is extremely helpful, allowing much more precise temperature management.

If you look at the internal pics here: http://www.wholelattelove.com/articles/spotlight_brasilia.cfm and the external shots of the machine, it is essentially identical to the Quickmill Andreja Premium. Yes, there exists differences in the casework and the use of a different control board but essentially . . . the same.

With that in mind, any review (there is an excellent one on this site) or comments about the Andreja would apply.
