Looking for used Faema Due D-92 boiler

Postby CDMTech on Tue Jun 17, 2008 1:25 pm

Would anyone know where I could get a good used boiler for a Faema Due 2 group machine? I have got one but the previous owner left water in the boiler during storage and it froze and destroyed the boiler. New ones cost more than the machines are worth. Thanks for your time.

I have a two group Faema with a ruptured HX tube on one group from the same problem. Boilers were nearly impossible to get, or rather they were more than the machine was worth. I capped the bad group and used it as a giant single group machine. The only place I found used boilers was on eBay, and they came with a free machine (i.e. buy a used Due 2 and scavenge the boiler, or scrap you machine and keep the parts machine).

Thanks for the info. The problem I have is the previous owner let it freeze and it broke the boiler on both sides. Top on one, bottom of the other. So I am screwed until I can find a replacement boiler.

I am still looking for a boiler for this so if anyone knows where to find one please let me know. I have even tried to find one on Ebay but no luck. It sucks because this is all that is wrong with the machine.
