Working on the last stages of a La Valentina restoration and the previous owner had cut the part of the harness that connects to the Gicar dosing box. I was able to source a new plug, but am looking for some help with the wiring as I don't exactly understand the Italian diagram and abbreviations. I have attached a few pictures of the box and the wires for reference. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not quite sure where the two white wires (one from group head and one from solenoid that goes to tea spout) and the black wire connect in also if I have the others in the right place.

Not trying to be insulting, but I'd have a much better chance of helping if the pictures were in focus and I could read the label. I'm a big fan of a tripod and timer so I don't move the camera.

Hello.

If you can't get a good image, can you copy the text in a drawing?

Anyway, is this machine is a semi-auto or an automatic? A semi-auto will have one switch on the front of the machine for making coffee and it's on/off. The autos have key pads with 2-5 buttons and "dose" the coffee.

Hello Djmonkey, Its an auto. Sorry I wrote that it was an auto only in the title and not in the post. I'm working on some better pictures, but I don't have too many camera skills. I guess that the text is now unreadable after my poor camera skills and resizing the pictures to upload to the site, I'll try to upload some better pictures and link them. Thanks

I have two spare parts catalogs applicable to the La Valentina. The last pages of these catalogs have electrical diagrams - which I just noticed. Email me off-line at erics@erols.com and I will be happy to send you these pdf catalogs.
