( New to this) So I purchased a La Spaziale New EK Special machine from a local person here in town...very nice machine!. I go home, setup, plumb in etc. and I notice no BAR pressure gauge!!?? Not sure if Im seeing this right, but the pressure gauge goes from 0,0.5,1,1.5,2,2.5,3.then stops.... Is this the Bar Pressure for the group head? Or the bar pressure for the steam pressure?

Welcome to the forum. Nice score you got yourself. The EK doesn't have a group pressure gauge that I know of. What you have on your machine is the steam boiler gauge. To be certain, carefully observe your gauge at startup. Several minutes after switching ON, it will rise and rest just above 1.2

Give your machine a few minutes to get temperature stability and you'll be brewing excellent espresso. Remember though, your grinder should be up to the task.
