itself was bottoming out on the front frame, and would not alllow the steam valve to shut off. I was
able to ever so slightly bend the L-shaped bracket (that held the valve in place) to a more upward position.
This kept the lever from bottoming out on the frame.
Today I got an email from CC with a picture labeling the parts. They further explained, in detail, a couple of different routes to move the lever upward - and eliminating the problem. Really nice touch!
I think I have used the right vendor for my purchase.
Thanks for everyone's input!
