Does anyone know if the t dreams had problems with their first generation machines ? I thought I read something to that effect somewhere but I don't remember exactly where. It also said the quirks were fixed and resolved with the new generation.

Any feedback would greatly be appreciated

According to this (from 2014) the issues were already being addressed back then, which implies to me that they're long solved by now:

I was one of the posters to that thread. My machine is rock solid now. The last fault was a failed brew boiler temperature sensor, but since replacing that, there have been no issues. The first generation did have its share of problems, as detailed in the other thread. Nothing more to add.
