I've had similar good experiences with LM and my terrific dealer, Chris Coffee, when I've had issues with my GS/3. They really do stand behind the machines.

The stainless portafilter is now available for purchase. Based on a rave review from a member of this site, and LM's excellent video on the product, I ordered one through Chris Coffee this week. Should be here on Monday!
