We all heard of rumors about LM's new programmable pressure profiling machine. Now, apparently, it has a name and a few flickr photos; plus a video too!
So, H-B's, fess up, someone got to know more about this monster!

Hi c,
thanks for the links glad to see how it looks like inside. I had a visit at the Firenze factory today, but unfortunately they had some of the stuff packed as they moved recently to a new location and the new Strada was part of that stuff. I talked to Piero Bambi a little bit about the machine and sounds like it's quite similar to the Hydra, sort of three separate machines in one frame (three pumps/group-boilers). I think it uses the TMFR pump but due to various cirumstances I couldn't really confirm that. The pre-production unit will be shown during the Milano Out of the Box show on the 23rd of October, or something like that. Anyone going?
I've noticed on this photo:

that the paddle mechanism is a bit different. Anyone can confirm that the PCB tracks on top of it are actually a part of a variable resistor used to drive the TMFR pump? I had the same idea but was worried that the heat might screw up the precision of the resistor in my particular design (sampling and ADC).
Regards,
dsc.
