Thanks Chris for sharing that information. I've seen 30 yr old machines with no rust so it was a surprise that mine started to rust under a years time. I had assumed that the coating on the inside panels was either poorly done or that it was missed , but composition has a major role as well. I also noticed that the panels are fully chromed now I'm sure to prevent this from happening and to increase the longevity.

Other than the rust, the Duetto has been a fantastic machine and I'm very happy with it.
