slowrey wrote:Well got a call from Chris Coffee and spoke with Tynetta and she mentioned that the new machines will have:

Float system instead of micro switch for water level
New feet that have rubber on the bottom for non skid
New water tank
Adjustable expansion valve
Heavy duty over pressure valve

She also said that they are done tweaking the Duetto II and there are no plans on changing anything else according to Chris. I may have a machine next week after paying for it over 3 months ago. Yippie. I also requested to purchase another water tank for backup.
Cool, glad it's finally happening!

I'm wondering what the new feet will look like. Mine already has rubber on it so I wonder why they're pushing that as a new feature. The adjustable expansion valve and new OPV sound interesting. Although, I thought the expansion valve was adjustable already? Anyone?

Well I got news that they are going to take a picture of the top before they send me mine so to make sure I think it's okay before they ship. We'll see. Maybe next Friday maybe a refund I dunno.

Maybe this is a mix of the last few versions?

Many people leave it 24/7, and yet many people will put it on a timer to turn it on before they wake up in the morning or before they come back from work.

Sean, you still need pictures of the new water reservoir? I have some detailed pictures if you or anyone else wants to see them.

But basically the "new & improved" reservoir has the full top open, and has a photo-optical(?) floater water level sensor.

La Dan thanks for the offer but Chris Coffee posted pictures of the tank on Facebook.

Well yesterday by the end of the day I was irritated I had not heard from CC about the possiblity of me getting my machine. You see I travel quite a bit and this week I'm home, same as next week. Well I was told last week someone would get a hold of me after they broke down the pallets however that day came and left without a notice. Then my original sales person contacted me about my FB post and then realized I didn't even have a machine (but they have my money for 3 months :) ). So that person said CC would call me soon. By this time yesterday I was just about fed up. I figured I'd email one more time and if I didn't hear back by Monday that I was just going to cancel my order.

Well by the end of the day I did get an email and even pictures of the top and they look very good. Not perfect but far better than my original machine. Thus I informed them that I wanted a machine shipped as well as I'd like to buy another water tank since this tank is so different I didn't want to have issues finding this tank later down the road.

We'll see when it comes in. I'm attaching the photos for you all to view.
