Postby eric needham on Sun Dec 19, 2010 2:59 pm

could someone please tell me if there is any differences between a made in USA and a made in Firenze Linea. I am referring to ones made post welded grouphead April 2003 and newer.

Thanks, Eric

Eric,

The machines are virtually identical. All US built machines start with BO as a serial prefix. 3 and four group machine created for Starbucks do not have hot water taps and almost always have Cronos keypads.

Terry,

Thanks for the reply, I was wondering why I saw so many 3 and 4 groups with Cronos keypads.
I just sold my 2003 made in USA, and bought a 2004 made in Firenze.
I built a home with an espresso bar on a street named Firenze, so I figure a machine made in Firenze would be appropriate.
