Postby Gene on Wed Jan 04, 2012 11:14 pm

Hi
Just bought a used Isomac Venus with no manual/instructions. I need help with descaling and backflushing, any help or direction would be appreciated. Thanks Gene

congrats on the new Venus, I've had mine for about 5 years and love it! I do practice descaling and backflushing and it does help keep things running clean.

I think this site is a great place to start via the FAQ section and also this article on cleaning:

espresso machine cleaning

one other site that is mentioned a lot on this site as well is the Espresso My Espresso page, which has a how-to section covering both topics
Espresso My Espresso

enjoy the Venus! : )
