Hi,

Basically I have the identical problem as described here: Isomac Tea not building up pressure/heating after boiler descale

i.e. my Tea will not heat up nor build any pressure after descaling. I have descaled many times before and never had a problem. The problem occurred after I drained the boiler to remove the acid water.
Now once I turn the machine on, it will just switch the on/off light on and heating light (RED) on and never heat up or build any pressure. The pump however works and pumps water ok.

I checked the thermal fuse, but it seems to be ok (I measured a reasonable resistance value), there is 230V on the heating element, but its resistance is infinite. Hence I suspect that the heating element is gone. Am I right ? or my problem is somewhere else?

Cheers,
/Peter

You suspected correctly.
