I had a Isomac Millenium at the repair shop because the machine does not heat. They took it apart and tested everything but can not find the problem . The heating element works when they test it outside of the machine but not when it its installed. They checked all of the wiring and it looks alright The shop mentioned it looks like power does not get to the heating element but they cant tell why since all the wiring is intact. They replaced the electronic unit but the Isomac still does not heat.

Here's a link to the electrical diagram - http://users.rcn.com/erics/Illustrations/IS_ELEC3.jpg . I would normally suspect that your boiler's safety thermostat has "blown", but seeing as though they checked the wiring, other likely culprits are the solid state relay (SSR) and possibly the pstat itself.

Either you or that shop needs to make sure that the boiler water level is correct - ABOUT 2/3 full - prior to applying power to the heating element.

Thanks
I will let the shop know of this. I talked them on the phone quite a bit and it seems that they checked the pstat and he said he went through everything with a ohm meter. I will give them the wiring diagram if they dont have it already. My guess is they are not really familiar with the Isomac Millenium but they still accepted the machine for repair when I asked them.
