I have a parker 3-way solenoid and coil as pictured. I haven't actually disassembled one before, but it seems like I'd unscrew the screw inside the chrome pipe section?

Thanks

First unscrew the extension
the the coil then you will have access to the pilot which can be unscrew from the base
PS that valve looks like it has had much better days

I agree with Stefano. Its condition is questionable at best. The corroded electrical contacts will cause no end of problems. I think this is the correct disassembly tool:

hehe ya it appears to have suffered some kind of short and blew up a little bit, it's on a project machine I'm finishing up. I'm hoping something can be salvaged.

Alright, I'll try unscrewing this thing.
Thanks

Ok got it apart, thanks! And thank channel locks ;)

Looks like I'll be ordering a new coil from Stephano soon. I think the pilot looks ok and I'll just clean it up.

I do need the wired portion that plugs into the coil too though as it appears burnt, not sure where to find one though, it doesn't look like Stephano carries it?

Here it is blown up:

Since you are talking about ordering from us (thank you in advance)
before ordering
do make sure you can clean that pilot, it looks pretty bad,
and not to try to be negative but sometimes even when they look clean they might still not work properly

so it might be easy to say it for ME and I do not intend this as a sell pitch
but If I was you I will replace the complete valve

in regards of the connectors you can see them in the same section on our web page were the valves are
thanks

I know what you mean. I think though that the pilot looks great, barely any scale (and it all cleaned off in citric acid) and the o-rings are still soft, spring and all that moves easily. I still haven't opened up the other group's 3 way yet, however it looks good so I may wait to see how it works first.
