Hi there, I was having the bouncing pressure problem so I replaced the Ulka today. After reconnecting, I find that there doesn't seem to be suction. The pump clearly runs (makes noise and vibrates) but I don't see any water coming through the inlet line. Any thoughts on what I may have missed?

Thanks!

You need to prime it. You can use one of those suction devices you use to clean out a baby's nose (or something similar) to force water into it right after you turn it on. Or just fill the inlet tube with water and blow on it hard. Once it gets going dip the tube into the reservoir immediately.

Be sure not to let the pump run too long while trying to do this. It relies on the water flow to keep it cool, it will overheat if you run it dry.
