Thanks Dr. Gary.
I'm turning into a goldpanner for espresso machines.
I will be leaning on the wisdom & talent that runs through this forum once I move into the new crib and unpack all my machines. I have some refurbin' to do.

So, is your plan to have a cafe where coffee is served mostly with amazing collectible home machines -- except for the T1?

That was the thought when I began buying machines in 2009 and before I scored the Belle Epoque. :o

Every once in awhile, Craigslist rewards my espresso hobby in unexpected ways. I was thinking the other morning I would like to have some cappuccino cups.I checked Craigslist a few hours later and found this for $30 right nearby. Demitasse, cappuccino, latte, and cafe au lait cups plus saucers plus a steaming pitcher. Not bad!

Very nice score! I really need to monitor CL more but never find anything good in LA.

drgary, you're achieving at a pretty good rate yourself. Good score! What part of the Bay Area did you find the cups? You need to be selling some off to us...lol. I love trolling on the SF/Bay Area CL but I have to start saving again for a Hottop. Oh well, I'll be down there in July... 8)

That's why I was able to get them! :P

They were in Foster City. The week before I walked down Montgomery Street in downtown SF and noticed that the Amici Cafe had closed. This was what was left of their supplies - of course I asked if they had any more espresso gear! They got tired of running the cafe and are opening a catering business. He was asking for an offer. I couldn't tell how many there were, so I asked him what was fair and we both ended up pleased.
