How to fix scale problem on super automatic? - Page 2

Where would it leak from? Would it be from worn out o rings or like the metal being eaten through?

Wouldn't the leaks be easy to fix also? Is the plumbing inside fixable with parts from a hardware store?

Thanks

The leak(s) will come from anywhere a worn o-ring (most of the one's in the syncrony as i recall are 1/4inch O.D.) fits into a part or around the small plastic tubing. I didn't find plumbing supply stores to be of much help, even though the o-rings I got from them, which were not available in the correct size from the machine importer, looked almost identical (but not quite). I still got leaking. Also, the brew assembly constantly had spent grounds collect on it and caused the grounds to back up in the assembly. Neither the leaks or the machine itself were worth the time and effort. I have never used the machine you have but the brew assembly looks identical to the Gaggia Syncrony.Spend your hard earned cash on a machine that's worth it :!:
