How do I upgrade to a silvia wand? I have a gaggia carezza.

Does anybody have tips on how to change the gaggia steaming wand to the rocky silvia one?

I have done this to my Gaggia Classic. It's a very easy mod to do, and should only take about ten minutes :)

Here is a good guide

I have found that it works really well :)

I followed the same instructions with my Carezza. They worked well.

A couple things: 1) you don't need the o-rings. I re-used the one that was on the stock wand and it worked well, and 2) you'll need some emery cloth or something similar to take just a bit off the top of the silvia wand where it fits into the carezza steam pipe. I just got a few little pieces and wrapped them around the top edge (above the lip) and kept twisting, then trying it, then twisting more until the fit was just right. Before that the silvia wand fit was too tight and I don't think it would have swiveled.
