Hi you guys working with (or repairing) LM Lineas...

I am currently refurbishing my EE model to put up a little coffee cart on a local farmers' market.

Cannot get my favorite brew switches over here (Berlin/Germany) and my LM dealer hasn't even seen them before, for it is a volumetric machine culture around here

I would love to grab 2, 4 or 6 of EXACTLY THESE BREW SWITCHES:

If anybody reading these lines can help I shall be happy and would arrange payment and shipping via my sister at NYC!

My email addy is: balbulus (at) gmx (dot) net

Thanks a lot!!

You could order them from EspressoParts, or according to Terry, their UK office. From another thread...

Hi Dan,
unfortunately LM once more has re-rechanged their brew switch design... I already inquired about this at EP and the only model they have in stock is different from the reference one i once more enclose below.

I am specifically looking for EXACTLY THESE brew switches with pimples (which may have been widely available until early 2010?) for i like them most:

So, if anybody has to offer 2 or more - or knows someone.... 8) ??

Will be higly appreciated!

Axel you can find these anywhere. Search Carling Switch Contura series.

They are a very weird shape and size, why not go with the original white + red rocker switch which are now back in stock.

I'm facing a similar issue sort of. I have found Contura switches in an off-on-on configuration, which would be perfect for manual pre-infusion. According to the datasheet the Contura switches are designed for a 21.08x36.83 mm mounting hole.

However my Linea is currently fitted with a different (older?) brew switch with a large bezel. These have totally different mounting dimensions, the hole in the bezel is about 22x30 mm while the bezel covers a hole in the panel about 30x40 mm.

Anyone know if there is a bezel available to fit the Contura switches to the front panel on my machine?

How many different Linea semi-auto brew switches have they had? Old white L287, black with bezel L283, Contura II, and now they it seems to be Contura X...?
Too much is not enough
