It looks like an old Nuova Simonelli unit that predates the Elli/Ellimatic and is somewhere in the days of the Beach.
I'd know for sure with a closer shot.

Okay I must be out of my mind The picture I posted was an Astoria CKE, but I also picked up a Minigrimac in the deal.
Both 'powered up' , but they need work. The Astoria might actually need a boiler(one of the water line from the exchange to the group is split open), and I'm the Grimac's pump wouldn't start, but I didn't have time to dig in to them yet.

a split water line is a good indication the machine has been frozen.

Yeah, the dreaded frozen machine.
What are the chances the heat exchanger was spared?

The MiniGrimac is almost done awaiting a powder coating
The Astoria on the other hand I've offered for sale.
The HX seems to have been spared So aside from a through cleaning/descaling, O-rings and gaskets, it will need a pressure gauge, a contact Thermostat(screws into the bottom of heating element) the steam wand converted back to normal(has a frothing device), the group converted from a pod set-up back to normal, and the top section of copper from the HX to the group replaced.
There might be more, but that's as far as I got!
