Dear All,

I have a Expobar office lever HX machine. 2 yrs old. I take care of her and often clean w cafiza backflush/disk etc. Never done the citric acid deep clean/descaling. I use a descaler/filter from chris coffee.

Over the last 2 weeks every time i make a shot the pressure goes up to 8-9 bars then the motor turns off , goes down to 4-5 bars then on again goes up for a second to 9 bar and the off again and on/off in the same rhythm. in the past it was a steady sound and pressure of 9 bars or so continuously. Anyone has any idea whats going on?

Anybody with a diagnosis?

I'd replace the pump.
