So Eric what you are saying is that that these two inlets that supplies water to warm up the grouphead also supplies the brewwater?? I actually didn't know that. I thought that was the case on Aurelia but not the Appia.?

And now I have updated my Blog with the resent scace readings on my Appia. These have been made after there has been installed a 1.6 mm hx jet.

Please do check it out.

Have a nice weekend.

By the way. An exciting thing that will be coming up soon (I hope) is to see what happens when the Appia gets direct water connection. These days I draw water from a plastic tank placed below the machine.

It is my theory that the water I will draw through a direct connection will be colder even though it is drawn through my Brita filter. So how will I see this in my scace readings?

I hope I will have direct connection within a month so keep an eye on my blog for scace readings :-)

And even more readings posted on my blog.

So after two episodes of scace readings it seems like the machine is pretty close to the setting I want.

Just need to do a little more test of the flush routine to secure the most stable brew temperature. But it is nice to see that a long idle time followed by a 20 sec flush seems to hit right at 94degr C and pretty stable throughout the shot!
