dparham, you might have to host a HB shootout in part of the world lol... You really were on point with your restoration. Great job.

Looks good. I enjoyed having my 2 group Faema but ended up downsizing to a single group commercial to save some space. The only real down side (besides the space it takes) is that you can never turn it off. Those big boys take 3 or more hours to fully heat so I just ran my machine 24/4 (and still do).

Yup these things are huge! I have a larger 3 group la Marzocco Linea 3EE , also in process of restoration - mostly just repair, and to offset my electric bill I removed my oven and dropped in 2 portable induction stoves since they are so energy efficient! Im going to add PID to brewgroup and an on/off switch for steam boiler as I mostly only make espresso - maybe also piero mods to groups but that wil be later on. Once I get the La Marzocco up and running Ill decide which one to keep and probably sell the other one or put it in service at clients cafe... I am eyeballing a Senesso or the Speedster for the home and maybe a lever just for fun... I like restoring espresso machines since it encompasses many different disciplines from technical electronics, fluid dynamics, visual and taste observations and how they all play together ...Ive never done a side by side with the e61 style and saturated groups on La Marzocco before.. will be fun! so far though on this Fiorenzato, it has proven to be a VERY competitive and forgiving machine and the 14liter boiler makes plenty of steam! Tomorrow my new upgraded group screens will arrive and Ill install them and remove the old temporary one, and I also have VST baskets in the portafilters...
