UPDATE:

My Daddy is a preserver. I mean it. I thought we were going to burn something, maybe even the house, down. But, we kept flipping the breaker until he finally got the combination right. I don't recommend this, but whatever man! I am pulling shots and making capps!

I started off with whole bean 8 O'Clock standard crap just to get my KA Proline off of the Fpress setting and onto something that resembled espresso. Then I took my buddy Kevin's espresso roast (http://www.cremacoffeeroaster.com/) and fired away. I spent a half pound before I was happy. But, let me tell you something right now, that stuff is TO DIE FOR! I am making some serious stuff and it can only get better. My wife has a VERY picky taste for espresso. IF it isn't just right she doesn't want it at all - she likes it. I made an 8 oz capp for her and nailed the texture on the first try and the second try for me wont bad at all either (thanks Lemm Butler).

Thanks to everybody who has helped with the wiring and other details and finally thanks to Shannon H at Coffee & Crema for the "big red box."

Now, on to the after Oscar party!
