buy a new gasket! teflon works great....if u discover some leaks after the first heat up u can tighten the nuts....its common for teflon gaskets that they need to be retightend!

Ok, Finally my new gasket arrived. It's a paper gasket and I installed it, plus a new Pressurestat en safety valve and it worked! No more leaks :D
So finaly could made an espresso! Will post some pictures/videos soon!

I look forward to seeing it. I have always loved those old Faema legend machines. The Legend and Elektra's Belle Epoque are are the pinnacle of classy Italian old school design.

Sides to be attached, but need a good table first. Machine works fine now!

The funny thing is that I have to grind about 10-12 g for one espresso. If I use only 7 g the puck remains too wet. So I grind in the portafilter until it is filled, then top off the coffee and tamp. That is about 12 g I think and that makes a good espresso! Anyone experience this also?

Love the machine! Very nice crema!
