Faema E61 parts help

Postby eric needham on Wed May 18, 2011 2:43 pm

Just bought this 1965 faema E61, I am trying to find the glass for the back as well as the light. I know I can have a piece of glass cut, and order a sticker. I will probably put in a transformer with a florescent tube, and a transformer. I am also looking for some other origional parts that have been changed to newer types, if anyone has a line on those. pstat, steam cup heater

Thanks, Eric

Farid,

Thank You!
I also think it is a beautiful machine.

Doug at orphanespresso would be a great contact.

There is that guy in Italian Ebay who sometimes has original screen printed glass and the plastic cup rails for sale. Expect big prices and I have no idea who to ship.

I think the best option is to make the glass and put on a new sticker.

Paul,

Thanks, I think that is what I will end up doing. I can find a light to go behind.

I talked with the guy who "restored it" 10 years ago. It looks like he may have some of the original parts, such as the cup heater steam valve. He told me he removed them so people would not get confused.

I am hoping to collect some of the original parts, so it can be refitted if a "purest" should desire.
