I think in a home setting, neither one will undergo the usage for which they were designed. I replaced my broken (old, well used) Ulka with a F-o-T and have been happy with it this far. One advantage is that I couldn't find an Ulka with bsp fittings on both ends -- they seem to have gone to a (plastic?) hose barb. The F-o-T is sturdily built. Just be sure to put the required diode on one leg of the power feed, which isn't (afaik) needed for the Ulka.
