Hey everyone,

I'm fixing up an Office Leva II (DB) but am having difficulties locating the replacement parts online.

Is there a website that carries Expobar parts?

If not, does anyone know what other part would work in the place of the original brew boiler temperature sensor? I see loads of them on espressoparts/chris coffee but don't know which would properly fit the boiler.

thanks in advance.

This company sells a lot of Expobar machines, I believe they are the US distributor & they may be of help.

I've bought quite a bit of Expobar parts from WLL. As long as you know what you need, it's quite easy to chat with them.

I would download the Leva II/Brewtus parts diagram and just give them the part numbers that you need.

I don't know if WLL carries it any more, depends on the generation. If not, I believe it might be this:

FURNECO 905-333-6508
controller ako 13120 /01
thermocouple ako 14901 nic

No dice at WLL. Tried the other suggested source but the link/portal to AKO parts is dead? http://www.furneco.com/english/temperature.html

Here is a link to the manual http://www.expobar.de/EXPOBAR-Downloads ... 100713.pdf

The part in question is on page 17 - Part #9

Unfortunately, it doesn't provide any specs making it difficult to find a non OEM replacement. Would any temp prob work as long as it fit?
I have some taps (both SAE and metric) that I could use to get an idea of the hole size/thread pitch but would have get some of the plumbing out of the way first.

Odd thing I noticed as I was looking through the manual. The machine has some SAE parts even though it's made in Spain.

I did a google search using the part numbers you listed above and this is what I've found....

The thermocouple you suggested (ako 14901) seems rather different from the one I need. It doesn't come with a fitting to connect to the boiler or a probe long enough to reach the water though I could be wrong.

This is the closest thing I could find but it's overseas.

That's the one used in a Brewtus if you have the same controller. It's a Platinum RTD, not a thermocouple. You have to pull it out from the tube and then push in the new one with heat sink goo. Or that's how I remember it being done by the other members of the Brewtus list.

Gotcha. The machine came to me without the RTD or the fitting which connects into the tank. I wish the tech who had worked on this machine prior to me getting it had kept the part with the machine. This is why I never throw away bad parts until the issue is fixed!

The temp controller is a Giemme.

Isn't the gimme an autofill box, not a temp controller? Is the temperature/pressure possibly just controlled with a pressurestat? Is it single or dual boiler?
