Well, having setup the Elektra in the kitchen, I have started on my learning curve of how to use this beast.

Happy to take any advice or pointers on how to go about taming the beast.

EDIT: Some information. Pstat setting has boiler pressure gauge reading about 1.1 bar at switch setting. Pump pressure is approximately 10 bar on brewing. Currently using a static supply from a container (not yet plumbed in).

Update: Having plumbed in to mains supply, and having checked pump pressure, PStat setting etc, I've found now that shots are silky and just amazing texture, with lovely rich crema. It took a bit of working out how how to best use the HX, but just loving it.
