Yep, I still have the problem. If you guys could measure the O ring size that would be great. I've a big box of O rings sitting around, so don't worry about it right now, I'll see if one of them matches the size you have. If not, then lets talk. :D I just don't want to pry the old one out and find out I don't have the right size.

Hi Mark,

it's 8.5mm outside diameter and 5mm inside diameter.

Regards,
dsc.

My box of 200 O-rings only has 12 sizes, none of which are small enough. In addition, your O ring is red while all of mine are black. I suspect a different material for the higher temp or something. I'll likely just order a new vacuum valve since I think I'll be picking up a new pressure stat for my 1988 Elektra Microcasa a Leva. Yah, two Elektra's in the house now.

I had the Leva on my bar for the lever machine smackdown, super machine. I would love to have one to pare with the A3. The shots are so different between the two that you can use both with the same blend and get two very different cups. Now you just need a stack of grinders.

One of my fond memories, the day the titan grinder project and lever machine smackdown both visited at the same time.

I wish, there is more money there than my car is worth.

Just like to publicly thank Sylvain for the o-ring. It has worked perfectly with absolutely no false pressure readings since I replaced it.
