Can anybody recommend an upgrade that will give better steaming performance - I don't steam to get good milk froth - to the factory fitted standard steam wand tip that comes with the Elektra Semi Automatica ?

The Semi's tip is the best I've ever used for small milk drinks. If you are having problems frothing four to eight ounces of milk, it's your problem not the tips, and you need to practice.

The Semi's 800 watt heater is not sufficient to froth larger drinks, i.e. 12 ounces and up, and changing the tip won't help. You can still froth this amount, but it will take around 90 seconds, and the steam pressure will drop low. For routinely making milk drinks this size, you need a catering machine with a steam boiler larger than two liters and 1500 watts or more power.
