Elektra Classic not heating

Postby Trevor Kearns on Wed Dec 28, 2011 9:42 am

Hi

we had trouble with our water supply for a couple of days, it has now been fixed but the boiler has stopped heating, does anyone know if you have to hit a reset switch on the machine

Please if you can help

was the machine ever run without water inside? You could have burnt out the heating element.

Try to check the impedence on it or if it is possible - visibly inspect it

If you are lucky, there will be a thermal safety switch that may have blown to save the heating element. On my T1 it screws into the boiler near the heater elements and is inline (serial connection) with the heating elements.
