Inspected the wiring and it is such a simple mod... I fail to understand why it is not a standard feature..

Many do not need steam all the time and this would be a great "Green" selling feature.

I have now owned my Dalle Corte Super Mini for a good 3 months, it really is an amazing machine.
Just received my bottomless portafilter this week, as also a 4-hole steam tip.

Going to mount a pressure gauge to my portafilter today so i can have a look at the current pressure as also how it profiles.

If anyone wants i could post some internal pictures later on or giving some more information.

Look for the review done by " bellabarista co uk" in their downloads section..

A detailed review... I bit dated but well worth the read and the pics.

Have the parts manual... And modded the DCM to allow just teh boiler to be used.. Same set up / outcome as teh Super...

Now all I need it the Vario grinder :-)

Hello, and nice to be here.

Sorry to bring this old thread back to life, but I just got my super mini and I am desperate to start using it, however I am not planing to use it with a fixed water supply, so I need to find a solution for this.

Can i just use a 5 liter water bottle maybe placed a little higher than the machine to create some positive pressure or a Flojet-like pump would be the best idea?

thank you!

Hi!

I think the pump can draw the water from a bottle with no problem, considering the bottle is not so low. But if you wanna use the pre-infusion feature, that opens the 3-way valve and after 2 or 4 seconds turn the pump on, you should have some pressure on the line, so a Flojet would do it for you. I think the pressure of a bottle at 1,5m or even 2m high is low, around 0,2 bar, right?

No way for you to hook it up to a water line? It would be so easy to use... A friend of mine has a DC Mini, fantastic machine on a relly small footprint.
