I noticed that on my old pipe it's flat in one spot but the new isnt. Will the flow through the pipe be affected by this and therefor showing lower pressure? Or should it look like this?

If that pipe is only connected to the gauge there is no flow, it just pressurizes and the gauge reads the pressure. The original one may have been intentionally crimped to stop pulsation from the pump.
Some gauges have a small orifice to provide the same snubbing of the pulsations. Just put it on and if the gauge needle bounces when the pump runs you can crimp the line until the bounce is dampened but don't pinch it off completely.

Ok, I have 2 pipes for the pressure gauge , one has a cracked fitting and the other doesn't have a flare ( I think it's called ). But I will be fixing the old cause it has this flat spot that I showed on the photo. Thanks for the info okmed
