Is this possible? Easy to do? :)

I've used both models and the minor difference afforded by the preinfusion chamber isn't worth the trouble of a conversion. If I were looking to enhance the preinfusion of Valentina, I would instead convert it to a rotary, plumb it in, and use line pressure for adjustable preinfusion.

In any case, this diagram shows the key differences of the two models side-by-side:

Basically it comes down to removing the solenoid and end cap, adding the parts for the expansion chamber and lever. In the Levetta, the pump is activated by the cam of the lever pressing a microswitch behind it. If you're handy, it would not be difficult, though the cost of the parts may be prohibitive.

Thanks Dan,

Not worried about the pre-infusion - it is more about doing away with the metal toggle switch.
