Adding to Dick's comment in an entirely speculative way: the experiment proposed here, interesting though it may be, is more of a temperature blend than a temperature profile, since three separate portafilters/doses have been suggested. In other words, even if the results are revealing, they may not indicate how a single dose extracts. But this is just a caveat....
