Can't find out where this last gicleur piece goes?

Postby movnmik on Wed Nov 11, 2009 5:20 pm

As I'm reassembling the plumbing of my Cimbali M30 (La Cimbali M30 Dosatron restoration) I have one extra gicleur fitting/piece. Scratches head :?

There were a total of 4. I have installed the two that lead to the group head from the flowmeters and the other which is located before the boiler fill solenoid. I have consulted the diagrams several times but still can't figure where this last one is supposed to go.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I probably should add some additional information instead of simply bumping my original post.

My question should be, where are gicleur's normally placed? The Cimbali had 4. At least that's what I have now. Who know's maybe the gicleur fairy left an extra for me! I have installed 1 for each group head and one before the boiler fill solenoid. The hot water solenoid wouldn't have one I suspect (doesn't show it on the parts diagrams and the fitting won't accommodate it.

What other devices on an espresso machine needs to be protected/fed by a gicleur? If I never find out where this last one goes, do I risk damaging my machine? I would think not but I'm not sure.

Thanks
